Welcome and thanks for taking the time to visit this site! My name is Tonya Hamilton, owner of THamilton LLC.  I have over 20 years of work experience within the healthcare arena, including 12 years as a licensed Registered Nurse. As a nurse I have worked in many facilities and carried various titles. I have experience working in both small and large institutions, including Level 1 Trauma Centers and Magnet designated hospitals. A few of my specialties include oncology, med surg, trauma surgery, case management (utilization review, insurance, and population health), and community- public health.

After seeing health care disparities and inequities here in the United States healthcare system, I became a Certified Nurse Case Manager. My focus is currently on prevention of diseases, decreasing disease progression, and improving health outcomes.  As a Certified Nurse Case Manager thru CCMC (Commission for Case Manager Certification) I have gained invaluable knowledge and experience.

My purpose and passion is to empower and bridge gaps in healthcare for all. This includes groups that have been marginalized and underserved such as Seniors, Women, Low Income Individuals, and Families just to name a few . I hope to achieve this by creating awareness through advocacy efforts and directly working with individuals, as well as collaborating with leaders in the healthcare sector. Through strategic partnerships with healthcare leaders and organizations, it is my goal to reduce healthcare inequities. Most of my work is centered around The Healthy People 2030 Objectives. These objectives are a set of data-driven national objectives- priorities to improve health and well-being over the next decade. Healthy People 2030 focuses on “Eliminating health disparities, achieving health equity, and attainment of health literacy to improve the health and well-being of all”.  My principal objective with THamilton LLC is to service individuals, groups, and or organizations in their specific area(s) of need.

Unfortunately, I have also been a victim of poor health outcomes and endured poor medical management as a patient. It is a fact that Millions of people experience poor health outcomes that could have been prevented, including myself.
